GBR Rubble Wreck #2

Local Name:

GBR Rubble Wreck #2

Depth:

About 60-70 feet.

Anchoring:

We anchor on what I refer to as GBR Coral Head (I'll add that location very soon). Take a bearing to the wreck with your GPS and just swim out to it. I suppose you could anchor right on it, but it would be a little deep.

Notes:

I found this wreck some time ago. It is a heap of junk. It may be some sort of landing craft. There is a propeller and rudder, so I suppose it qualifies as a shipwreck. We seem to stumble upon this when going between the GBR Coral Head and Bishop Upright and Bishop Inverted.

Photos:

This is pretty much the whole wreck! The prop and rudder are towards the bottom.
For some reason I seem to like prop shots! It seems like the colorful sponges like the props, so that's probably why I like to protograph them!
Stepping back a bit, here the prop and rudder. While this is not a terrible exciting wreck, I wonder what this might have been.
